Florida has a very broad public records law. As a result, any written communication created or received by Clay County District Schools employees will be, unless otherwise exempt, made available to the public and the media, upon request. If you do not want your comment and subsequent identifying information released in response to a public records request, do not comment or message on any authorized CCDS page or platform.

Clay County District Schools abides by social media providers’ terms of use and the district asks its social media users to do the same. In particular, please do not post unauthorized commercial solicitations (spam), do not bully, intimidate, or harass any user, do not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence, and do not post anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory on any CCDS social media page.

CCDS reserves the right to remove or exclude comments that contain profanity, solicitations for commercial or advocacy group interests, are factually erroneous/libelous, are clearly off-topic, advocate illegal activity, cannot be translated into English by Google Translate or other free online translation software, or that otherwise violate our social media providers’ terms of use. Further, the district reserves the right to remove or exclude submissions that contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage any individual or group because of their gender, gender identity, race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, political beliefs, marital status, age, sexual orientation, social and family background, language, pregnancy, or disability.
Multiple abuses of our social media posting policy may result in a user being banned from a CCDS social media account.

Clay County District Schools thanks you in advance for your contributions to our #OneClay social media, and for your help in creating a safe and vibrant online community here.
